Genesis 1:26-27
God created man and in the beginning, man let God down. He promised His children many things if they were to be obedient to Him and to the Law. Unfortunately, the Law was impossible for man to live by and man began to do what man wanted rather than what God wanted. Soon, things began to get so terrible that people were worshipping idols, false Gods, and completely ignoring the commandments of their Creator. It was time for a New Covenant, an new way for man and God to communicate.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16-17
And so it was, Jesus came to the world, to save man from the eternal damnation of hell and sin. It is through believing in Jesus that ALL sins are forgiven and the ONLY way to our Father in Heaven.
This is what my family and I hold dear to our hearts. We live in accordance to the commandments of God and pray that all shall come to repentance and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their saviour.
Let me introduce my family to you.
Lacey and Heather
Lacey is our oldest daughter. She is a spunky,
friendly, loving, child of God. She has many great qualities and is a wonderful, well behaved child. She enjoys reading, dolls, sleepovers, 7th Heaven, camping, and sitting on Daddy's lap while watching football!Lacey wants to be a nurse, a teacher, a policeman, or a doctor when she grows up.
This is Heather, our youngest daughter.
She likes to read the bible, sing, draw, go to work with Mommy, cook, and play with her friends. She also likes 7th Heaven, Rugrats, and enjoys sitting with Daddy watching football, basketball, and movies.
Heather wants to be a nurse, a Mommy, a pastor, (of women's ministries of course), or a numbers cruncher! Go figure...
This is my beautiful wife.
She is the best wife a man could have. She is the most supportive, the most loving, and the most compassionate woman I know. Through all of our years together, all of the trials, tribulations, and joyous occasions, she has maintained this marriage with honor and integrity. She has stood by every good or bad decision I've made and has taught me much about patience and tolerance. (Having to deal with me.)
I can go on and on about her here, but I don't want to lose you...
She is a nurse in a care facility for elderly people and has been doing this for some time now. She is looking to go on to something different because this work has taken its toll on her.
Jennie is a strong willed woman of God who enjoys reading the bible, historical Christian romance novels, cooking, cuddling with her husband on the couch, in front of the fireplace, watching A&E or The Discovery Channel, and church functions.
I am Russ
Although I am wearing this here, this is not what I wear in church. I think that may cause a ruckus!
I enjoy reading and studying the Word of God, poetry, psychology and theology. I like to watch sports of all kinds on television and an occasional tv program, when I can find something worthwhile. I love to teach the word of God to people and it is my life's work to do so and to bring people to develope a relationship with God.
